Professional Background

Luděk focuses on real estate and commercial law. In particular, he represents clients from the construction, energy and information technology sectors.
In public procurement, he mostly advises to the bidders in connection with their participation in public procurement procedures, and assists them in contract negotiations and in subsequent objection and review procedures before the Czech competition authority and administrative courts, including providing relevant legal opinions.
In the area of real estate and construction law, Luděk has extensive experience in providing comprehensive legal advice to Czech and foreign investors in connection with acquisitions and the sale of immovables, and the development, construction and lease of residential and office centres.
In the area of commercial and corporate law, he has been involved in numerous acquisitions (on the part of both sellers and purchasers), including legal due diligence, and he has also provided clients with legal advisory on commercial contracts (such as contracts for work, sale of enterprises, purchase contracts, agreements on IT services, and customer-supplier contracts).
Before joining the firm, Luděk worked for seven years at the international law firms Salans (nowadays Dentons) and Altheimer & Gray in Prague.
From 2006 through 2011, he was a member of the FIA International Court of Appeal in Paris. Luděk is a member of the Examination Committee of the Czech Bar Association, a member of the Association for Public Procurement and the author of the monograph "Public Service of State Employees”.
