Professional Background

Adela focuses mainly on mergers and acquisitions and corporate law and she is an expert on employment law. She has substantially broad experience leading and coordinating important cross-border projects; she represents major clients, both sellers and purchasers, within acquisitions, transformations and reorganizations.
Adela was appointed Partner in 2011 and she had co-managed the Czech PETERKA & PARTNERS office as Deputy Director since 2013. In 2018, Adéla was appointed Director for the Czech Republic office.
She is particularly engaged in the retail and luxury sector where she ensures comprehensive day-to-day as well as project agenda to world's leading luxury group. Due to her unique experience with this industry, she is the Leader of the Retail and Luxury practice at PETERKA & PARTNERS. Adéla is also the Leader of the Labour Law practice at the firm.
She also assists well-known world-wide employers with setting, restructuring, terminating and settling relations with their employees, especially with managers, and setting internal rules and appropriate remuneration and bonus schemes; she is experienced in collective bargaining and has recently focused on the use of new technologies in employment relations.
She manages a large portfolio of clients from various industries, commercial sectors and services, among others, IVECO, Konica Minolta, Mylan, NKT and Samlerhuset.
Adela is a regular speaker at professional conferences, holds legal seminars, workshops and trainings, sessions, comments on legal news in the media, and publishes in various publications.
