Professional Background

Petr focuses on labour law, immigration matters, civil and commercial law (including the civil procedure) and family law. In particular, he represents clients from the retail and energy sectors as well as individuals. He is the Leader of the Cybersecurity, Data and Privacy Protection practice at PETERKA & PARTNERS.
In labour law, clients benefit from Petr’s long track record of experience with concluding and terminating employments, and with advisory on working hours and compensation of harm. Petr has also provided clients with comprehensive advice on employing foreign nationals in the Czech Republic and the EU.
In the area of civil and commercial law, Petr has focused on unfair competition, in particular, on misleading advertising and unlawful comparative advertising, negotiating conditions of various contracts (especially broker and commercial agency agreements or purchase contracts), and advises also on consumer protection.
In litigation, Petr has been called upon to represent domestic and international clients in disputes concerning in particular, debt recovery, including the compensation of damages and the insolvency proceedings.
